Jerry Copeland II, D.M.D.

Meet Dr. Copeland

Dr. Copeland And His FamilyMy name is Dr. Jerry Copeland II. I was born and raised in Leominster (pronounced Lemon-stir), Massachusetts. I received my Doctorate of Medical Dentistry from Boston University. I continued my specialty training in Pediatric Dentistry at my residency program in Charleston, South Carolina at the Medical University of South Carolina. I joined the practice of Dr. Bob Fernandez in 2001. I belong to a number of organizations: American Academy of Pediatric Dentist, American Dental Association, Florida Dental Association, Hillsborough County Dental Research, West Coast Dental Association, Southeast Society of Pediatric Dentist, etc.

I have devoted my professional career to all aspects of pediatric dental care. To keep abreast of the latest developments in pediatric dentistry, I have always exceeded the continuing education requirements of Florida.

Now for the important stuff! I love my job, I love kids. I enjoy having one of the best jobs in the world. I get to talk about the most important stuff to toddlers thru teenagers every day, and guess what; a lot of it makes you smile (I would love to let children do the morning news sometimes.). But best of all I get to change peoples lives. I can introduce them to dentistry in a fun way, even make them enjoy coming to the dentist. When is the last time you could say that?

My hobbies include being a Dad to three wonderful daughters and two grandchildren. I attend church at Christ the King in Tampa, usually the early mass on Sunday. I also enjoy fishing, golfing, going to the movies, eating out, and playing Xbox 360.

But my favorite job and hobby will always be that of being a Dad!
